As a former executive director, I understand and care how organizations are run I know that to get to good ends, we have to pay attention to our means. We have to look squarely at our positionality, understand how power is apportioned and exercised internally, and measure and learn from regular impact assessments. To help leaders and organizations, I center love as a driver for change. Love, like water, is necessary for life, seems so simple, and yet can carve canyons out of rocks. That's why you'll always see me fore-fronting our common humanity whether I'm conducting an evaluation, facilitating a retreat or mediating a conflict.
